boygenius — the supergroup of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker — are officially back with plans for a new album called the record. It's due March 31 through Interscope, and the trio have shared three new singles today to prove it.
"$20," "Emily I'm Sorry" and "True Blue" mark the first new material from the band since 2020. In the time since their debut, all three musicians have delivered solo projects of their own — including Bridgers's acclaimed 2020 album Punisher, Dacus's 2021 album Home Video and Baker's 2021 album Little Oblivions.
the record also marks the group's debut full-length following their 2018 self-titled EP and subsequent demos record.
