Following the recent Birthmarks (available through Paper Bag Records), Born Ruffians have shared another new piece of material in the form of the unreleased cut "With an Ax."
The song is an outtake from the Birthmarks sessions. According to a press release, "The song is one of the band's favourites but they felt it stood out better on its own so it was left off Birthmarks." It's a quirky shapeshifter of a tune that morphs from quirky atmospherics to more straightforward, minimal pop rock.
