While Ozzy Osborne is winding things down with a farewell tour, fellow Black Sabbath hero Geezer Butler is actually starting a new project. Called Deadland Ritual, Butler's band is a supergroup of sorts, boasting former Guns N' Roses drummer Matt Sorum, Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens and Apocalyptica singer Franky Perez.

Deadland Ritual are scheduled to play Hellfest in France next summer on June 22, but right now, they are busy uploading teasers to their socials. For a taste of what the band have in store, you can check out some of those teasers below.

Last year, Butler told Rolling Stone that he had "about 120 riffs written down" for his next musical project, adding that he just needed "to pick a guitarist and sort through them."

Beyond that Hellfest performance, however, it's unclear what Butler and co. have in store for Deadland Ritual, so stay tuned.
