Michigan melodic death metal warriors the Black Dahlia Murder are unleashing their album Abysmal on September 18 through Metal Blade Records, and they have just rolled out a new track from the collection with "Threat Level Number Three."
The band's vocalist Trevor Strnad previously said that Abysmal highlights the band's "faster, darker" side, and "Threat Level Number Three" certainly makes good on that promise. The double-kick drumming is insanely fast, and Strnad's vocals switch between an goblin-like scream and a ghoulish death growl before he backs off the mic during a wailing, fretboard-exploring guitar solo.
