Birdman has managed to take his Breakfast Club meltdown from last month and turn it into some new material. After becoming a global meme for asking the radio crew to "put some respek" on his name, a music video for a track called "Respek" finds him capitalizing on the PR gaffe.
The Cash Money stunnaman delivers bars about, what else, respect, inferring that he's a "five star G," and should be addressed as such. He threatens to pull up on anyone who refuses to do so.
As you can see in the video, Birdman has taken the opportunity to expand his empire to merchandising the hell out of his now legendary on-air tirade. The video also sees him celebrating in the streets and at a bar.
Birdman's Ms. Gladys album arrives June 24. Until then, "respek" the rapper and onetime Prince George resident by giving his video a peep down below.
