Cinema is not dead! Okay, it still might be, but Beyoncé is giving the Marvel-rotted industry a little shot of glamour with a RENAISSANCE concert film, which will hit theatres on December 1.

It's not the now-infamous MIA RENAISSANCE visuals that fans have been begging for, but knowing Beyoncé, it'll be an event all its own. Plus it's a little treat for those of us who were too broke to attend the actual tour!

The film will, obviously, document the bank-breaking tour that Beyoncé just wrapped in Kansas City last night. The RENAISSANCE concert film will be distributed by Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment and AMC Entertainment, though its distribution won't be limited to AMC Theaters.

A press release for the film reads: "It is about Beyoncé's intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft."

Appropriately enough, as Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has been circling the globe alongside the RENAISSANCE tour, Swift's own Eras Tour concert film is also on the horizon, hitting theatres on October 13. It's also being distributed by AMC.

Here's the RENAISSANCE concert film trailer:
