Ben Folds is the latest artist to announce plans for a new livestream concert series from quarantine.
In an effort to ensure fans that "we shall get the hell through" the coronavirus pandemic better together, the artist has set plans to go live with a new "Apartment Requests" series streaming from his quarantine zone in Sydney, Australia.
As the name suggests, Folds will be taking requests for the home broadcasts, which will be posted to his Patreon page, free for all viewers.
"Request to your hearts desire over the chat and understand that there's no science to it," Folds wrote of the series. "When I notice one that I can play this way I'll just launch into it! Very informal although I'm stuck in Sydney where I was on tour with orchestras. So I have mostly suits haha. I may damn well wear one of those to save my day clothes!"
The first livestream in the series goes live at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday.
