Calgary's Belvedere is on a higher plane than most of the skate/mall/new school refuse that's packing your local 1000 capacity venue. As limited as the sound can be, this four-piece manages to throw a fresh spin on it on their second album. The 13 songs on this have an edge and sincerity that is sorely lacking in many bands in the genre.
