Days ahead of kicking off a by-request "intimate" North American tour, Baroness have made the decision to postpone the run due to COVID-19.
"With the current surge in Omicron cases, we will be postponing Leg 2 of the 'Your Baroness Tour' until March and April," the band announced today in a statement.
"With the intimate, 'in your face' nature of these shows we want to make sure that we're doing everything we can to ensure a safe, healthy night for everyone in the room. We don't want anyone coming to see us to feel like they are at risk, and we also don't want to get back out there and end up having to cancel (more) shows because someone in the touring party is ill."
Like the trek originally planned, a trio of Canadian stops will be included towards the end of the tour. A first performance at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern will now take place April 12, ahead of shows at Ottawa's Brass Monkey and Montreal's Bar le Ritz PDB on April 13 and 14, respectively.
All original tickets will be valid for the corresponding rescheduled date, while setlist voting has been extended until eight days before each respective performance for anyone
Baroness note that planned shows in Nashville and Tucson were unable to be rescheduled, while a Houston performance has had its venue moved. Refunds are available through original point of purchase.
