Barenaked Ladies have treated their Detour de Force single "New Disaster" to a new video, and it finds them introducing their very own graphic novel.
The clip was created by Marvel Comics illustrator Enis Cisic and Toni Huml, and as you'll see, it finds them using using comic book visuals to tell quite the tale.
Here's how Barenaked Ladies' Ed Robertson puts it: "It is about the distraction of modern politics coupled with the pressures of the 24-hour news cycle, which is so sensational, un-vetted and un-researched. It seemed like the Nostradamus predictions of new disaster were getting worse and worse, even after we recorded the song."

As previously reported, Detour de Force arrives on July 16. The band will also tour North America in 2022, including a lone Canadian stop in Toronto.
