As an early gift to listeners, Barenaked Ladies have announced plans for a run of holiday concerts in Toronto at which they'll play smash hits, seasonal favourites and selections for the young (and young-at-heart).
This December, the band will take over Toronto's CAA Theatre for 13 total dates. The majority of the shows will be "Hits for the Holidays" performances, with setlists featuring the band's biggest hits and favourites from 2004's Barenaked for the Holidays.
Additionally, BNL will also perform "Snacktime!" matinee shows, with songs from their JUNO-winning 2008 album Snacktime! slotted in alongside holiday favourites and classic hits.
Find BNL's complete itinerary below. "Hits for the Holidays" shows will start at 8 p.m. ET, while "Snacktime!" matinees will begin at 2 p.m.
Tickets go on sale to the general public November 1 at 10:00 a.m., while presale tickets will be available October 28 at 10 a.m. ET to American Express cardholders, and October 30 at 10 a.m. ET for Barenaked Bytes members, BNL Mailing List Fans, Spotify Fans First, and Mirvish's presale.
Further ticketing information can be found here, while COVID-19 safety measures for the CAA Theatre can be reviewed here.
Earlier this year, Barenaked Ladies delivered 13th studio album Detour de Force, and recently teased work on a "super-secret" project with Rush's Geddy Lee.
