On the tails of her Polaris Music Prize nomination, Montreal rapper Backxwash has shared the title track "STIGMATA" from a forthcoming EP.
Featuring guest vocals from DeathIrl, "STIGMATA" was mixed by Will Owen Bennett and mastered by Ada Rook, who also plays guitar on the track. Over the weekend, Backxwash described the new song as "my favourite track I have ever done."
The STIGMATA EP arrives this Thursday (July 30).
Earlier this year, Backxwash released God Has Nothing to Do with This Leave Him Out of This, which Exclaim! named as the Best Album of 2020 So Far.
