Vancouver reprobates B-Lines played the record release show for their sophomore set Opening Band over the weekend, but in case you weren't in BC to pick up the platter, you can give the short set a stream online.
On top of the previously previewed title track, the album features sloppy and snarly salutes to '80s hardcore like sarcastic entitlement anthem "Do You Know Who I Am?" and "Acknowledgements," though this time around tracks like the pitiful life-pondering "Nervous Laughter" run above the two-minute mark. It's not a grand change, though, and still finds Ryan Dyck self-flagellating himself with a series of neck-vein popping screams.
You'll find the curt collection down below via Hockey Dad Records/Nominal.
