Though accounts of the evening's events vary, we know that Azealia Banks attended a party at Russell Crowe's hotel suite as a guest of RZA earlier this month, and things ended badly — very badly.
After criticizing the party playlist and referring to the host and another guest as "boring white men," Banks claims that Crowe "called me a N-word, choked me, threw me out and spat at me."
Other attendees, including RZA, described things a little differently, claiming that Banks's behaviour was "erratic" all night, with Crowe finally stepping in, escorting Banks from the room and calling security after she cocked a glass and threatened to pull some "Tarantino shit."
RZA tried to distance himself from Banks, cutting professional ties and saying he was "embarrassed" by his guest's behaviour, and now Banks has appeared on television to share her side of the story.
She was a guest on Access Hollywood last night (October 27), and got pretty emotional as she discussed the ordeal on camera, telling the host: "I'm just really, really humiliated."
