Australian sound collage artists the Avalanches have been hinting at a follow-up to 2001's Since I Left You for a while now, and things just got a bit more promising with the release of a new demo titled "A Cowboy Overflow of the Heart."
The track features David Berman from the Silver Jews and is essentially a spoken word piece, over some very subtle sonic manipulation.
The band have delivered the Cool Gays by Cool Gaze and Sleepy Bedtime Mix for Young Ones mixtapes in the last little while, but the new demo may finally be a sign of a long-awaited sophomore album.
