Wade MacNeil handles guitar in Alexisonfire, in addition to playing in bands like Gallows and Black Lungs and writing film scores. Now, he's launched yet another project called Dooms Children, who have just rolled out a psych-rock single called "Flower Moon."

This is MacNeil's previously teased psych collaboration with Daniel Romano, who co-produced the project. It features multi-instrumentalist Ian Romano and guitarist Patrick Bennett. The track is filled with trippy reverb, husky crooning and watery guitar effects. A press release describes it as featuring "live-off-the-floor recording and [an] organic production style."

MacNeil said in a statement, "This song is about putting back together the pieces of a life that's been shattered...Feeling a little rough around the edges from what you've been through, but excited about what's to come, 'cause you don't know what's going to happen next."

The accompanying skate video for "Flower Moon" was directed by Brian Shannon and features pro street skateboarder Annie Guglia. Check it out below, and stay tuned for more announcements from Dooms Children in the coming weeks. The single is out through AOF's usual label home, Dine Alone Records.
