Back in January, we got our first look at what might become Alexisonfire's fifth studio album after metadata for a mysterious new album titled Otherness appeared online. Today, those rumours are edging ever closer to becoming a reality, as the band have just dropped some pretty official-looking hints.
As you may remember, those leaked album details included an image of a face with makeup and the Otherness title, as well as 10 song titles. In a social media sweep, the band have shared both that title and the image, alongside a snippet of new music and tomorrow's date: March 10.
As all their social channels and website are decked out with the same red image, it's pretty safe to assume at this point that we're getting a few more official details tomorrow.
Should they unleash a new record after all this, they'll get a chance to play the new material at Ottawa's RBC Bluesfest in July alongside Rage Against the Machine, the National, Alanis Morissette, Sarah McLachlan, Jack Johnson, TLC and more.
Until then, revisit the rumoured tracklist here and see their post below.
