Alexisonfire are back with a new slow burn: the post-hardcore champs have shared "Sans Soleil," the latest single from their forthcoming album Otherness.
Due June 24 on Dine Alone Records, the LP will be the band's first in 13 years. "Sans Soleil" follows previous singles "Sweet Dreams of Otherness" and "Reverse the Curse."
"Wade [MacNeil] came in with the lyrics for this song around the same time he had been working on the Dooms Children record, and I feel like it shows," bandleader George Pettit said of the melodic new track in a release. "Dooms Children touched on a lot of things extremely personal to Wade and this song is definitely in that vein. This song is about hanging onto hope during the heaviest times. Healing and letting go. Dreaming of a future where all this hurt is behind you."
