Alanis Morissette was set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her landmark album Jagged Little Pill this year with an extensive North American tour alongside openers Liz Phair and Garbage, but it has officially been postponed until 2021.
The Canadian singer made the official announcement on her social media pages last night (May 8), writing, "my North American Tour scheduled to begin in a few weeks is being rescheduled to Summer 2021 out of an abundance of caution. please hold on to your tickets as they will be honored for the new dates which we hope to announce very soon."
The only 2020 dates that are still currently scheduled for this year are dates in the U.K. and Ireland later this fall.
Morissette has already postponed the release of her forthcoming album Such Pretty Forks in the Road, initially scheduled for release May 1. A new release date has yet to be announced.
