A new documentary film will examine the life and work of the musician, animal rights activist, restauranteur and proud vegan known as Moby.
The artist born Richard Melville Hall will be profiled in Moby Doc from director Rob Bralver, Deadline reports.
Moby himself will narrate the "surrealist" biographical film, which will reportedly see him "reflect on his turbulent personal life and iconic music from underground punk bands to chart-topping solo artist, and from struggling addict to vegan activist."
Moby Doc will also feature interviews with David Lynch, David Bowie and Shepard Fairey, along with concert and archival footage.
"In making Moby Doc, Rob and I had two goals," Moby shared in a statement. "The first was to make a truly unique music film and the second was to make a film that's unabashedly honest and vulnerable."
Moby Doc will land in theatres and on digital platforms May 28 through Greenwich Entertainment. The artist previously shared reflections on his life and work in a pair of memoirs: 2017's Porcelain: a Memoir and 2019's Then It Fell Apart.
