Yorgos Lanthimos has maintained a truly impressive streak with a series of out-there films, and his latest looks no different. Following last year's The Killing of a Sacred Deer, he's set to deliver a period piece with The Favourite.
The film is set in early 18th Century England, and stars Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone. While its sets and outfits look era-accurate, however, the first trailer for the film is packed with sight gags and slapstick humour.
