While most of us try to trick ourselves into thinking we are young forever, the harsh reality is we're not. And here to remind us of that is Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, who just turned 40. Yes, the big four'o.
While many folks out there still view Culkin as the eternally young Kevin McCallister, the actor popped up on Twitter to remind us of his birthday on Wednesday (August 26).
"Hey guys, wanna feel old? I'm 40. You're welcome," he tweeted. "It's my gift to the world: I make people feel old. I'm no longer a kid, that's my job."
Not stopping there, he went on to say: "It's about time to start my midlife crisis. I'm thinking of picking up surfing. Do you all have any suggestions? Do any of you have photoshop skill? Can you put my head on a surfer so I can get an idea of how cool I'd look?"

While Culkin is obviously having a bit of fun by trolling us all, it's a good reminder that things change and people move on. After all, one of his Home Alone co-stars even became the president of the United States.
