Simon Pegg and Nick Frost cemented themselves as brilliant co-stars in English comedies Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Paul, and the two will continue their partnership in executive producing new horror-comedy film Slaughterhouse Rulez.

As Deadline reports, the film will arrive through Pegg and Frost's newly film and TV production banner Stolen Picture. Slaughterhouse Rulez will be directed by Crispian Mills (A Fantastic Fear of Everything) and based on a script he co-wrote with Henry Fitzherbert. Sony Pictures is backing the title, which has yet to get a release date.

The film is said to follow protagonist Don Wallace, a schoolboy at the elite Slaughterhouse boarding school where status rules over a group of sadistic sixth graders. When a fracking operation on school grounds unearths an unspeakable horror, the pecking order must be pushed aside in order to survive.

Deadline notes that Stolen Picture will "aim to produce a variety of scripted entertainment in line with Pegg and Frost's unique brand."
