Mike Myers is back. The beloved Canadian actor has been prepping his Netflix series The Pentaverate for a few years, and the trailer has now been released. The show will land on Netflix on May 5.

In the show, Myers plays eight characters. He is a Canadian journalist who sets out to expose a secret society known as the Pentaverate, as well as a conspiracy theorist, far-right radio host, and members of the Pentaverate. The cast also includes Ken JeongKeegan-Michael Key, Debi Mazar, Richard McCabe, Jennifer Saunders and Lydia West.

The synopsis is as follows: "What if a secret society of five men has been working to influence world events for the greater good since the Black Plague of 1347? As this new series begins, one unlikely Canadian journalist finds himself embroiled in a mission to uncover the truth and just possibly save the world himself. Remember, the Pentaverate must never be exposed!"

The trailer is wildly over-the-top, featuring Masonic visuals and an ominous score juxtaposed with goofy jokes and Myers decked out in numerous costumes.
