Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds Bought a Welsh Football Team for Some Reason
They're now the proud owners of Wrexham AFC

We've all made some weird purchases in 2020, to be sure, but Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney might have just taken the cake. After all, the pair just teamed up to buy a Welsh football club.In a move vaguely reminiscent of Succession Season 2, the pair have joined forces to buy Wrexham AFC. The soccer team is part of the fifth tier of the United Kingdom's football league system, and it's now owned by RR McReynolds Company.
The duo announced their decision in a new video, where they also went on to heavily promote Wrexhan's main sponsor, Ifor Williams Trailers.
