Pamela Anderson Writes Bizarre Poem Defending Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange from 'Risk' Director Laura Poitras

Citizenfour director Laura Poitras has been promoting her follow-up film Risk, which takes a hard look at the life and work of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. Along with the site's political clout, the film also depicts Assange as something of a misogynist. Now, Pamela Anderson has spoken out in defense of Assange.

Rather than release a simple statement, Anderson has taken a particularly esoteric route by sharing a long poem.

Titled We have more than - A "Romantic Life" - the bizarre bit of prose was published to Anderson's official website. The piece references rumours that the two are a romantic item, and includes a photo of the possible couple from David LaChapelle.

Of the many strange passages, one stands out in particular as Anderson writes, "I don't think Wikileaks is sexist, I think it is intellectually elitist. / And, I have to say it a lot of this 'feminist' discussion is intellectually retarded."
