Earlier this year, Nickelodeon announced plans to revive its '90s programs with a new multi-faceted initiative called The SplatToday, the network made a major power move and announced it'll return with a new Hey Arnold! TV movie.

The show followed its titular football-headed character as he went through the fourth grade and lived with his grandparents at a boarding house. The show ran from 1996 to 2004, though its popularity hasn't really dipped since then.

Variety reports that the movie will pick up where the show left off. More importantly, it'll answer the longstanding question of what happened to Arnold's parents.

Executives wouldn't reveal the exact date for the arrival of the Hey Arnold! TV movie, but this is the first of many plans to revive Nickelodeon properties.
