Michael Douglas Accused of Sexual Harassment by Journalist Susan Braudy

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 19, 2018

Journalist and author Susan Braudy has come forth with allegations of sexual harassment against Michael Douglas.

She appeared on Today this morning to speak publicly about the alleged harassment for the first time.

Braudy claimed that Douglas frequently harassed her when she worked for his company Stone Bridge Productions in the 1980s, repeatedly using inappropriate sexual language.

She went on to allege that Douglas once masturbated in front of her during a work-related meeting at his house.

"He slid down to the floor, unbuckled his belt, and put his hand inside his trousers, and I could see what he was doing," she said during the TV interview. "Then he began to sort of fondle himself, and I was very scared."

Braudy said she never reported the incident to the police because she didn't know that his harassment could be considered criminal. She also said friends warned her against speaking out against a powerful Hollywood man.

Last week, Douglas preemptively denied the allegations, calling them "a complete lie, fabrication, no truth to it whatsoever."
