With Keanu Reeves's house in Los Angeles left unprotected while he tours with Dogstar, masked burglars felt emboldened enough to rob him this week.
TMZ reported today that the LAPD investigated the Toronto-born actor's home in response to an anonymous call alleging there was a trespasser on his property around 7 p.m., but the police left after a search of the home found it empty.
They're said to have returned around 1 a.m., responding to an alarm triggered at the house, where they found security camera footage of multiple masked men breaking a window to get in.
According to TMZ, all that was stolen is one firearm — but detectives are still reviewing footage and attempting to determine if the initial anonymous call was placed by a potential suspect in the robbery.
Luckily for the suspects, Reeves, who is canonically known for leaving trails of dead burglars in his wake as John Wick, is on the road gearing up to pluck the bass for a hometown crowd at the iconic Lee's Palace this weekend.
