Jonah Hill Named Most Foul-Mouthed Actor in Film

Jonah Hill has been named the most profane actor in Hollywood by a new study that analyzed over 3,500 film scripts for their total number of swear words.

Buzz Bingo measured the actor's collective swears over his career and found him to have cursed the most out of all the films in the study, capping off at 376 profane words over the span of his career, averaging 22.9 swears per 1,000 words.

Two of Hill's most famous roles made the list for most profane characters — playing Donnie Azoff in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, Hill swore 74 times, and playing Superbad's Seth, Hill swore a whopping total of 152 words.

That puts Hill just above Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Adam Sandler and Al Pacino in terms of on-film cursing.

It should be noted that though Jonah beat out Leo in terms of total swears, DiCaprio did triumph in Wall Street, playing the character with the most curses in a single film, with 332 in total as Jordan Belfort.
