Things have not been all that great for former Screech performer Dustin Diamond. In the days since Saved by the Bell, he's struggled with addiction, leaked a sex tape and gone to jail. Now, he's trying to mend his relationship with his former castmates.
In 2009, Diamond released a tell-all book called Behind the Bell. In it, he alleged that the cast members of the show were heavy drug users who all slept around while shooting Saved by the Bell. The sordid sex, he claimed, was not just between cast members but also with TV executives.
Since then, a vast majority of his former co-stars refuse to speak to him. Now, he's trying to set the record straight. "As it turns out, the general public doesn't realize, I didn't write the book," he said. "I had a ghostwriter."
