With Schitt's Creek in the rearview, Dan Levy is set to make his debut as a film director. Good Grief will be coming out through Netflix.

Levy also wrote and will costar in Good Grief. The cast includes Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, Luke Evans, Celia Imrie, Arnaud Valois, David Bradley and Jamael Westman.

The film is about man, Marc Dreyfus, who loses both his mother and his husband. Faced with grief, he and two close friends visit Paris on a weekend of self-discovery.

Levy said in a statement, "Good Grief is a cautionary tale about friendship and loss and all the mess that comes with it when the truth is something you've evaded for most of your life. It's funny, it's bittersweet, it's a project that has helped me work through my own grief. And I hope it does the same for other people as well."

Good Grief is the result of a previously announced partnership between Netflix and Levy's Not a Real Production Company. A press release doesn't cite a release date.
