Charli XCX's Nasty Cherry Band Are Getting a Netflix Series

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished Oct 22, 2019

Before rolling out her own solo album this year, Charli XCX had a hand in forming British-American four-piece Nasty Cherry and signing them to her Vroom Vroom Recordings label. Now, the story of how the group got involved with the avant-pop icon is coming to Netflix.

The six-part series I'm With the Band: Nasty Cherry will hit the service on November 15 and is said to "[follow] the women as they navigate a new age of music, making up their own rules as they go and blowing up Instagram feeds in the process."

You can watch a trailer for the series below.

Nasty Cherry features vocalist Gabbriette Bechtel, guitarist Chloe Chaidez (Kitten), bassist Georgia Somary, and drummer Debbie Knox-Hewson.

Charli XCX delivered her Charli album last month, and you can read our recent interview with her here.
