Charli XCX has signed on to executive produce Prime Video show Overcompensating, for which she will also provide music. Created by Benito Skinner (a.k.a. social media personality Benny Drama), the series will also count Jonah Hill among its executive producers.

The A24 show will follow the coming-out story of a college football player named Benny. The comedy has been described as "poignant, personal and deeply funny" and is said to "explore experiences people have figuring themselves out," as per The Hollywood Reporter.

This is the second time the production company has linked up with Charli XCX, as her single "Hot Girl" was featured on the soundtrack for Bodies Bodies Bodies earlier this year. This is also Skinner's second time working with the musician, as he had a cameo in her music video for "New Shapes."
