Regardless of Brian Cox and Logan Roy's shared brutal honesty, the former thinks his Succession character would have two words for him in real life: "Fuck off."
While attending the Edinburgh TV Festival, Cox took the opportunity to give his thoughts on what the fictional media mogul would think of him if he really existed.
"Logan would hate me. If Logan met me, he'd say, 'I wish that Brian Cox would just shut the fuck up,'" he said [via The Hollywood Reporter].
Despite Cox's insistence that Logan Roy is the "antithesis" of who he is, he does think that they share one trait: "The one thing we have in common is a deep disappointment in the human experience: We think human beings are fucked." He also added that his character has influenced his use of vulgarity, saying, "I never used to swear as much as I did until I played Logan."
While Logan Roy talk was on the table, Succession talk was not, as whom Cox calls HBO's "Gestapo-element" were in attendance at the festival — meaning there wasn't much he could reveal about the dramedy's highly anticipated fourth season.
