Maybe because he's salty he didn't end up in a Bond movie, Brian Cox is still reminiscing about his time on Succession. Now, he's revealed his favourite line he's delivered as Logan Roy — and it's not the one you'd think it is.
While guesting on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the actor shared that he's fond of the last scene he shared with his on-screen kids Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook) and Roman (Kieran Culkin). In the back of a karaoke bar, he says, "I love you, but you're not serious people."
"Well actually it was my favorite line that I had to say throughout the whole show," Cox proclaimed. "I love that line and I just thought, 'Why didn't I say that earlier?' They were damned unserious most of the time."
This explains why son-in-law Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) may have become Logan's favourite in the final months of his life — and inevitably (spoiler) took over Waystar Royco. "I think that Logan had already planned that," Cox explained. "He could see that those children were not going to add up to anything. Well, they didn't add up to anything! They added up to zilch."
Other than a Royless Royco, Logan's kids' daddy issues also gave us a pretty stellar drunk cover of "Say It Ain't So," so there is that.
