Less than two weeks after Danny Masterson was sentenced to 30 years in prison for raping two women, his wife Bijou Phillips has filed for divorce.

As per TMZ, Phillips filed the paperwork in a California court on Monday (September 18). She listed the couple's date of separation as "TBD," and says that "irreconcilable differences" ended their marriage.

Phillips wants physical and legal custody of her nine-year-old daughter with Masterson, but is willing to allow for visitation. A statement from Phillips's attorney, Peter A. Lauzon, states Phillips recognizes Masterson is a "wonderful father to their daughter."

"Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time," Lauzon stated. "Her priority remains with her daughter. This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family. Mr. Masterson was always present for Ms. Phillips during her most difficult times of her life. Ms. Phillips acknowledges that Mr. Masterson is a wonderful father to their daughter."

Masterson was sentenced to 30 years in prison on September 7 after being convicted on two counts of forcible rape. Phillips stood by him during his trial, retrial and sentencing. Both actors are Scientologists, as were three of the women who accused Masterson of rape.

Some of Masterson's co-stars from That '70s Show wrote character reference letters ahead of his sentencing, including Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith. Kutcher and Kunis have since apologized for said letters.
