Last year, we learned that Zach Galifianakis was seemingly doing the impossible and attempting to turn his Between Two Ferns web series into a feature-length film. Turns out we underestimated ol' Zach, because he's managed to do just that.
Between Two Ferns: The Movie has been confirmed, and it will arrive on September 20 via Netflix.
Here's the premise:
Galifianakis dreamed of becoming a star. But when Will Ferrell discovered his public access TV show Between Two Ferns and uploaded it to Funny Or Die, Zach became a viral laughing stock. Now Zach and his crew are taking a road trip to complete a series of high-profile celebrity interviews and restore his reputation.
The film was written and directed by Scott Aukerman, and will feature "celebrities you've heard of."
