We know that South Park has at least seven more seasons left on the air, after creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed a massive $900 million deal with MTV Entertainment studios last year. Now, it's been revealed when the show's 25th season will premiere.
South Park's 25th season premieres Wednesday, February 2 on Comedy Central. The show's return will shift things back to a traditional episodic format following a 24th season — its shortest-ever — that featured a pair of extended-length, pandemic-themed episodes: a Pandemic Special and Vaccination Special.
South Park viewers haven't been treated to a 10-episode season since the show's 23rd season wrapped up December 2019. Parker and Stone's aforementioned deal also confirmed that 14 original made-for-streaming movies would arrive exclusively on Paramount Plus — two of which have already landed in November's South Park: Post COVID and December's South Park: Post COVID: The Return of COVID.
Recently, Parker and Stone revealed they were at work on a new live-action comedy with Kendrick Lamar.
