Flying Lotus announced that his short film Royal was part of a larger, feature-length project titled Kuso this past summer. Now, the producer has revealed that a trio of comedians, Hannibal Buress, Tim Heidecker and Donnell Rawlings, are in on the project.

In a series of tweets updating followers on his progress, FlyLo assured everyone that Buress "killed it" in his role, while saying that Heidecker plays "the creepiest character he's played thus far." He also added that the film was nearly finished.

Saying that the idea behind the film is "pretty much everything I'm afraid of," FlyLo has also stated that Kuso will feature new music from his rap alter ego Captain Murphy, along with work from Aphex Twin, Thundercat, and videogame composer Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill). Eddie Alcazar, who collaborated with Flying Lotus on the short film FUCKKKYOUUU, will serve as producer.
