It's official: Flight of the Conchords are returning for a new HBO special.
The network confirmed today that Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie will indeed come back for an hour-long special, which will air on HBO in May. It will be taped during one of the duo's upcoming UK shows, which take place in March.
Speaking with ET, Clement recently said, "We're going to film a little something this year. We're going to shoot an hour thing."
The upcoming special will apparently feature a selection of old Flight of the Conchords favourites, as well as new material.
The comedy duo last left the air after Season 2 of their Flight of the Conchords program in 2009, which marks the same year as their last album I Told You I Was Freaky
