Eighth Grade director/veteran internet personality Bo Burnham has returned with an announcement about his newest project, Inside.
The musical comedian shared a teaser of his next film project earlier today via Twitter, including a clip that shows him sat at his signature piano in a dimly lit room. The lights go out and Burnham is revealed in a sliver of light, donning a seriously gnarly quarantine beard.
"hi. i made a new special," he tweeted earlier today alongside the clip. "it was filmed by me, alone, without a crew or an audience, over the course of the past year. it is almost finished. i hope you like it."
The pandemic-shot production will find its home at Netflix, the streamer that housed Burnham's previously released comedy specials, 2013's what. and 2016's Make Happy.
Inside has no firm release date, and Burnham has shed few other details on the upcoming feature. If his earlier Netflix collaborations are anything to go off, Burnham is likely to revisit his signature blend of comedy and music in the upcoming release.
