Last month, Florida-born experimentalist Yves Tumor released the glam-rock single "Jackie" and now they've shared a whole EP — because it's Thursday, so why not? A six-song collection, The Asymptotical World, comes in the wake of Heaven to a Tortured Mind, which made Exclaim!'s 50 Best Albums of 2020.
Led by "Jackie," the EP features a guest appearance by London-based duo NAKED (Agnes Gryczkowska and Alexander Johnston) on "Tuck." The project was co-produced and engineered by longtime collaborator Yves Rothman.
Yves Tumor also recently announced an extensive list of tour dates in the U.S., U.K. and Europe for later in 2021 and 2022. Yet again, Canadian stops are M.I.A. — for now, at least.
