Now that face masks are a part of daily life, the Tragically Hip have announced their very own PPE — with all proceeds going to charity.
Today the band announced their "Courage Mask," with all proceeds going directly to Unison Benevolent Fund. They are on sale now for $15 a pop, and you can get one now.
"Dear all, by popular demand and sad necessity we want to introduce the new Courage Mask," said the Tragically Hip in a statement. "All proceeds from sales will go directly to the Unison Benevolent Fund. Formed over 10 years ago, the Unison Fund provides emergency financial assistance to musicians and their crew members during their time of need. With venues shuttered and tours cancelled for the foreseeable future, the need has never been greater. Please spare a thought and prayer for all folks in the arts during these difficult times. Thanks for the support and thanks for wearing a mask! Stay safe."
As recently reported, the Tragically Hip teamed up with their first-ever manager Jake Gold to spearhead the release of multiple archival projects.
