Whenever Ozzy Osbourne decides to call it a day, his legions of fans will never forget the time he bit the head off a bat while performing live in 1982. Now, the Prince of Darkness is letting fans reenact his legendary stage move with a new stuffed toy.

To mark the anniversary of the bat-biting — which Osbourne did during a January 20, 1982 performance in Des Moines, IA — fans can pay $40 USD for a plush bat with detachable velcro head. Despite the price tag, the first batch of toys has already sold out.

Osbourne recalled the incident in his 2009 autobiography I Am Ozzy as follows:

Immediately, though, something felt wrong. Very wrong. For a start, my mouth was instantly full of this warm, gloopy liquid, with the worst aftertaste you could ever imagine. I could feel it staining my teeth and running down my chin. Then the head in my mouth twitched. Oh fuck me, I thought. I didn't just go and eat a fucking bat, did I?

Though his bat-biting days are behind him, Ozzy will embark on a tour of North America later this year.
