Montreal act Yardlets are set to deliver their sophomore album Good Hangs next month, and they've just shared the new video for "Baby Deer."

The project of Sam Goldberg Jr. (Broken Social Scene, Kandle & the Crooks, Hawaii) and Jeff Edwards (Shot While Hunting), Yardlets describe their sound as "psychedelic goth shoegaze punk" and they roped in Jace Lasek of the Besnard Lakes to help record the new LP at his Breakglass Studio.

We premiered lead single "Baby Deer" a while back, describing the tune as "the soundtrack to a hallucination." Well, now you can see that hallucination come to life in the glowing, neon-lit video.

Colourful scenes of both the natural world and a futuristic freeway float by, with swirling effects and ever-morphing landscapes blurring the lines between fantasy and reality. You follow along on the trip by hitting play below.

Good Hangs is out on May 12 through Hobo Slang/White Whale.
