Psych crew Wooden Shjips have announced another stretch of tour dates to help support their impending Back to Land LP, this time bringing them across the West Coast.
As previously reported, the San Francisco rockers head east just ahead of the album's November 12 release through Thrill Jockey, with the trip hitting Toronto and Montreal along the way. Now, a press release confirms that an additional handful of shows are set to take place in the new year, including an extra Canadian stop at Vancouver's Electric Owl on January 18. As previously reported, Back to Land was recorded at Portland's Jackpot Recording Studios by Kendra Lynn, and reportedly features "more earthy, grounded tones" than previous LPs. You can sample the jammy title track in the player down below.
