Wintersleep's latest album, Hello Hum, will be out on June 12 through Capital/EMI. In anticipation of the big day, the East Coast pop rockers previously unveiled the single "In Came the Flood," and now they've unleashed another LP cut with "Resuscitate."
This track is a groove-based rocker that blends fluttering rhythms and pleasantly hummable melodies with gritty guitars and some crunchy instrumental breaks. It's not quite as memorable as the some of the group's sing-alongs, but it's another intriguing cut from a band who are managing to expand their sound without straying too far from the root of their appeal.
