Joining the ranks of fellow Nirvana fan Post Malone, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has now shared his own tribute, covering the band's In Utero classic "Heart-Shaped Box."
Recording his piano-accompanied rendition, the singer — now sporting a quarantine moustache — played the song during his recent "Island in the Zoom with Rivers Cuomo" isolation session, broadcasting from his home.
Nirvana is seemingly at the front of many artistic minds during quarantine; in recent weeks, Puddle of Mudd, Bully and now, Cuomo have all paid tribute to the Kurt Cobain-led outfit. Late last month, Posty went as far as to perform an entire Nirvana tribute concert dressed in his best floral dress. He was joined by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
Cuomo's next Zoom session airs this Friday (May 15) at 6 p.m. ET.
