Horsies!

Hamilton hometown heroes the Dirty Nil have returned with yet another new music video, this time pitting their punk rock image against an undeniably adorable backdrop for their song "Blunt Force Concussion."

Enlisting director Mitch Barnes for the project, the band embrace their softer side here, as they're seen frolicking through fields of flowers and taking selfies with pretty horsies.

"For once, we tried to make a video without the risk of death or maiming," frontman Luke Betham said of the shoot in a statement. "No explosions, no fire, just flowers and good vibes."

He added: "However, the heavens declared against us and I was almost killed by an allergic reaction to a horse. My head ballooned up like a goddamn melon and my skin felt like fire. Moral of the story is: wherever we go, chaos rides shotgun."

The band officially released the track early last month ahead of its appearance on their forthcoming new album Fuck Art. As previously reported, the album will arrive on January 1 through Dine Alone Records.

The Dirty Nil's last full-length release was 2018's Master Volume. Earlier this year, they shared new videos for "Doom Boy" and "Done with Drugs" and a cover of Nirvana's Bleach favourite "School."
